Well, I’m not behind! I have 13,000 words. My goal for today was 3,000 and I came up short, at about 2800 and change, but I’m in a good spot, so no complaints.
What has happened:
In 1849, the reader met Bronwyn and learned some things about her family.
In the present, Holly, the innocent witch-girl, met her new employer and toured the house where she will be living for the summer, cataloging a large book collection. Holly thinks her employer is rather strange.
Elias, Allegra, Chess and Matthew had a meeting with Archer, the leader of the SF bay area vampires. No one feels that the meeting was particularly successful but no blood was spilled (or sucked).
In 1847, Bronwyn met Daegan Roope.
