   Beautiful! s it a woodpecker? Or maybe a blue jay? The composition is stunning, as if you’d placed each branch yourself to carry the eye always back to the bird. No wonder the bird looks so proud.

   Um, it’s a crow.

   I don’t think I can go into other people’s comments and correct them. I see tons of transpositions and typos in comments, and we all know how badly I type, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

   A crow? I know I’ve been gone a long time but that sure doesn’t look like the silhouette of a crow. But I’ll take your word for it. More photos please!

   Less sleek and more fluffy than usual, but it had just been preening before it stopped and “posed” for the picture. To me it almost has a kingfisher look, but it is a crow.
