The musical stylings of Cello Joe were a surprise. Cello Joe plays cello, one of the most emotive instruments in the world. He also did “beat-boxing.” He played some modern pieces, original compositions. Then we got a bonus; a local troupe of breakdancers were going to perform to Cello Joe’s music.
This look spells “attitude” but I wasn’t fast enough to get a picture of his 1,000 watt smile a little later on in the program.
The troupe is looking for enough money to open a dance studio and teach dance. The four boys were extremely athletic. At least one of them had the charisma of someone who was going to go on to be a professional performer. There was one woman dancer; she was good, but later, after the performance, she did some solo dancing. It looks like she has had professional training, maybe jazz.
